So here we are in Spring! I absolutely love this time of year for its hopeful growth of brand new seedlings, and the magical regrowth of plants that have lain dormant in the earth for the last few months.
This year started with a brand new start for me; opening my beautiful home studio and we are already into the third month! Lots of the regular classes are full, however it is always worth getting in touch towards the weekend to see if spaces have opened up for the week ahead. I am also offering an extended Yoga & Yoga Nidra session every few weeks (I’ll post it on here, on my email group and on my Instagram page when the next one is coming up). It’s a chance to delve a little deeper into your yoga postures and is followed by a deeply restful yoga nidra (deep yoga relaxation) to help us feel entirely refreshed and rested.
January is often talked about as the time to start making big changes and getting healthy” but honestly, if you want long lasting improvements to your wellbeing January is not your month. In fact March is a perfect time – it’s lighter, warmer and there is naturally a more positive feeling in the air. January and February is still hibernation time, and although you may be writing lists and visioning new seedlings into being, the real start is Spring.
So who’s in? With a dollop of yoga, a few extra healthy ingredients on your shopping list, a walk or a cycle to the shop instead of a drive, some time to pause and be fully you, and you’ve already made a start…
If you would like to learn and do more, then maybe a class or a nutrition coaching session or a deep relaxation class or a weekend retreat might be for you this year.

Class Info: All classes are 70 minutes long and are a hatha yoga practice including asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing practise), relaxation and meditation. Classes are suitable for all levels of experience. You can start as a complete beginner and equally if you are more experienced you can practise at a stronger pace, as I offer continual variations and adaptations of pretty much all of the postures. If you have any specific injuries, conditions or worries, it is essential that you get in touch with me in advance of your first class so that I can ensure I am teaching you safely.

THE YOGA & WELLNESS ROOMS HAVE CLOSED
In 2018 I opened The Yoga & Wellness Rooms which had been a dream of mine for a long time. After 7 wonderful (and intense and hard and exciting and happy) years, it is with great sadness and huge excitement (it can be both right?) that I am closing the Yoga & Wellnesss Rooms at the end of 2025. There are a handful of reasons that have prompted me to make this decision, but, mostly, I know in my heart that it is now time for me to move on and refocus my attention. My yoga teaching and nutrition & wellbeing coaching remains a huge part of my life, and without these premises to manage, I will once again have plenty of time and energy to focus on this, my home, and my family. .
Thankyou to everyone who has attended classes, therapies, taught classes and offered counselling, therapy, pregnancy yoga, hypnobirthing, pilates, dance classes, art therapy and all of the other wonderful classes and sessions that have filled the place with joy and happiness. I'll miss it all a lot. But I know it's the right decision for me.
